What is High Tg PCB

 

The Tg in PCB circuit board refers to the temperature resistance value.

The higher the g-point, the higher the temperature requirement for pressing the plate, and the pressed plate will also become hard and brittle, which will to some extent affect the quality of mechanical drilling.

The general Tg film is above 130 degrees, High Tg is usually above 170 degrees, and the medium Tg is above 150 degrees. The Tg of the substrate has been improved, including heat resistance, moisture resistance, chemical resistance, stability, etc., and the functionality of the printed circuit board will continue to improve.

The higher the G value, the better the heat resistance of the board, especially in lead-free tin spraying processes where high T applications are more common.
