LEDs are short circuits of light emitting diodes and therefore semiconductor diodes. The LED is soldered to a printed circuit board and is a chip that is electrically connected to produce light. A thermal diode and a ceramic base are used to connect the chip. There is no doubt that LED PCB is the core of LED lighting. An LED PCB can easily generate a lot of heat dissipation, but it is difficult to cool it using traditional methods. Metal core PCB has strong heat dissipation ability and is widely used in LED applications. In particular, aluminum is often used in PCB production of LED lamps. , aluminum PCBs contain a thin layer of thermally conductive dielectric material that can be more efficient than traditional, usually rigid PCBs.
Currently, chip packaging is the most widely used packaging form in LED applications. Generally speaking, the light emitted by a single LED component is limited. Therefore, a light fixture will use multiple LED components to get enough light. Like other semiconductor devices, PCB is the best method for electrical connection of LED components. PCBs with LED components are often referred to as “LED PCBs”.
